Definition
Indicates whether, during the availability check, the material is blocked for other users. The block remains until the transaction responsible has been saved. It is set at material-plant level.
Procedure
If you select this field, the material is blocked during the availability check and other users cannot:
- Make changes in the material master record
- Create purchase orders for the material
- Create orders for the material
If you do not select this field, the material is not blocked during the availability check. In this case, if many users are simultaneously checking availability, the results of the checks may not be reliable.
