Definition
The following matrix shows all object types. The column Header shows whether the type is a TADIR header type or to which header the object type belongs.
Headers are object groupings marked with PGMID = R3TR. For example, R3TR PROG includes the ABAP source code, the screens, documentation, and GUI definitions. Transports with change authorization can only contain headers. They are also used for name protection. When you make entries in transport requests, you should use the R3TR or R3OB objects because the relationships between objects will then be taken into account.
However, the development environment writes mainly LIMU entries in corrections because the transports are required to be as precise as possible.
The column Length shows the maximum length of an entry for this object type if it is known.
