Definition

Specifies which months of consumption are included when calculating the range of coverage or which monthly receipts and consumption are used in the movement rate analysis.

The significance of the numbers depends on the parameters of the program concerned:

• determining consumption from material master data
• 1 month in which the running date entered lies
• 2 previous month
• etc.
• determining consumption from forecasting data
• 1 month in which the forecast was carried out
• 2 following month
• etc.

Use

When determining the lowest value according to range of coverage, the range of coverage is calculated as follows:

Average stock : average consumption

The average amount of consumption for the entered months corresponds to the values in the column "Weighting".
