Procedure
Enter the follow-up action which is to be taken when the contract ends. Follow-up actions are
- Creating a contract
- Creating a quotation
- Creating a sales activity such as a telephone call
- Sending an internal electronic mail
If you specify a follow-up action in Customizing in the contract profile, it will be proposed in any contracts you create with this profile. If you also want a date rule to be proposed in the contracts, enter the date rule in the Action date rule field.
If you specify a follow-up action in a contract, the Action date field must be filled either with a date or a date rule. If no date rule is proposed from the contract profile, you must enter either a date or a date rule manually.
Use
All contracts for which follow-up actions have been maintained are included in the follow-up actions worklist when their action date lies within the time period specified for selection. The system lists the contracts by date and follow-up action. You can initiate the follow-up actions directly from the worklist.
Choose Outline agreements -> Contracts -> Subsequent functions -> Follow-up actions to reach the selection screen for the follow-up actions worklist.
