Definition
This indicator shows whether the field contents of the broken-down dimension are displayed. If the contents are not displayed, the space is used for an extended display of the field descriptions.
Example
You want to plan the costs and the consumption for cost element 403000 (Operating costs consumption) to cost centers 4711 (production A), 4712 (production B) and 4713 (production C). Since you know the meanings of the cost centers from the respective numbers, display the field contents, in other words, the cost center number. You can then suppress the field descriptions. The planning overview screen for this example then looks more or less as shown below:

Note
You cannot suppress the field contents and description simultaneously.
