Documentation
Procedure
Enter the date on which the customer accepts delivery of a piece of machinery.
Use
The acceptance date is then used as the baseline date for determining other dates in the contract.
Example
The contract for the hire of a photocopier is to begin on the date on which the customer officially accepts delivery of the photocopier. You do not enter the contract start date directly in the contract. Instead, you enter a date rule which determines the appropriate contract start date as soon as you enter the acceptance date.
