Use

Defines the number of days before the due date that a receivable or payable is considered for automatic clearing.

Example

Two contracts are settled through a header account. The premium for the first contract is payable on the 15th of a month and the premium for the second contract at the end of the month. The business partner pays both premiums on the 15th. You define a deadline variant of 16 days so that both payments can be cleared with receivables on the 15th of the month.
