Definition
This indicator specifies that synchronous posting is to be carried out without a posting log. If documents are selected and transferred to processing for posting, then online processing is interrupted and is only continued when posting is complete.
When you use this indicator, the data used for posting is not written to a backup posting log file. Instead, the data is saved in the memory. This allows for improvements in performance as compared to posting with a posting log. Memory requirements are, however, greater.
