Leave entitlement is generally granted for one year. The Leave year field specifies the year in which the entitlement is valid.
Please note that the leave does not have to be taken in the specified leave year.

Procedure
Enter the leave year to limit selection to those years up to and including the specified year.
Example:
On January 3rd, you would like to check an employee's remaining leave from previous years. The current year's leave entitlement already exists, but should not be taken into account. Enter the previous year as the leave year to display the correct data.

Leave Year - Payroll Denmark
The leave year in this Infotype refers to the Leave year of IT 0005. IT 0005 stores the leave type entitlements for a person for a given Leave year and for a Deduction validity date. The data in this field specifies 'From' which year the leave days will be transferred.
Dependencies
Employee should have some eligible leave types in IT 0005 for this Leave year.
