Characteristics of the planning InfoCube that are available for inclusion in the characteristic sequence.
Use
All characteristics for which you have set the fixed indicator in the assigned hierarchy derivation can be used directly. If you want to use such a characteristic, choose the Sequence pushbutton. The equals sign (=) appears.
Moreover, you can use the characteristics that reference a characteristic for which you have set the To be derived indicator in the assigned hierarchy derivation. By choosing the Sequence pushbutton, you can determine from which characteristic such a characteristic is to be derived, that is, you determine where the characteristic appears in the hierarchy. A characteristic can be derived from
- The root node of the hierarchy
- The end node of the hierarchy, or
- Fixed characteristics in the hierarchy.
If the pushbutton has an arrow pointing upwards, the characteristic is derived from the characteristic appearing beneath it in the list.
If the pushbutton has an arrow pointing downwards, the characteristic is derived from the characteristic appearing above it in the list.
You cannot include in the characteristic sequence any characteristics for which the Sequence pushbutton is inactive (denoted by a red X).
