Status stored in the uniform packaging service (UPS).
Use
You can display the current status of the UPS (ALE distribution unit and ALE distribution packet) in UPS maintenance.
When you define the packet types you specify one status per package type. If this status has been attained in the target system, then the target system sends a receipt to the source system to synchronize the status there, and to document the process progress.
