Definition

determines that a new message is created to replace the previous one for an object in the UPS.

Use

You activate the indicator if there were errors in the communication, and irrepairable damages have occurred to the message. There are two different cases:

• The object has already been posted in the target system.

  The new message is posted, and overwrites the previous status in the target system.

• The object has not yet been posted in the target system.

  The previous message (IDOC status 68) is set to obsolete, and excluded from further processing. The object is posted with the new message.

Dependencies

The indicator can only be changed in correction packets.
