Method of pricing sub-items

If a (statistical) main item is replaced by one or more sub-items (because of an exchange), prices have to be recalcluated in purchasing documents. There are two ways to price sub-items:

• Individual pricing

  The system calculates a separate net price for every sub-item on the basis of the agreed conditions for the material and quantity.

• Pricing by copying the main item

  The system retains the main item's price for the sub-items.

  The conditions are copied to the sub-items from the main item, and cannot be changed. However, additional conditions can be agreed for each sub-item.

The pricing methods used by the system are vendor-specific.
