Definition
If this indicator is set, then subtotals are displayed in a hierarchical form. If there is more than one lead column, then no subtotal can be generated for the characteristic to the very right, because the resulting structure is then no longer a hierarchy. Therefore, the system switches the option for forming subtotals to "not ready for input" for this characteristic after setting the indicator "Total as hierarchy".
