Definition

Dropdown box for the selection of a characteristic to generate dynamic rows or columns.

If you select a characteristic in this field, then when you execute manual planning, the rows or columns which are marked as dynamic are generated from the current selection conditions for this characteristic. In the selection, it either concerns the corresponding settings in the planning level or package, or the values of a variable, which you enter in the layout definition.

The number of rows or columns results from the number of characteristic attributes in the selection for the characteristic marked as dynamic.

During generation of the new rows or columns, the subsequent rows or columns are moved down or to the right.
