Definition

When this indicator is set, some additional functions are available for the Excel Frontend. These functions are executed in the Excel Inplace:

  • Totals are calcuated automatically every time changes are made to a row.
  • Totals can be imput if the corresponding cells are not situated in comparison rows or comparison columns. The value is distributed automatically every time an imput is made. Various methods of distribution are available ('analogue', 'evenly', 'analogue to a reference row or reference column').
  • Excel areas can be selected and protected locally against changes. Cells in this area are then fixed and therefore cannot be changed manually or by local functions in Excel Inplace. This fixing can be reversed at any time.
  • Excel areas can be selected and then reassessed either absolutely or by percentage.
  • If totals in the data columns or in fixed defined rows determine a hierarchy structure, these hierarchies are displayed using Excel grouping.
