Definition

In the forecast, new values are predicted for an object for a future time period. A characteristic is selected as a time dimension of the forecast. Note the following:

• The characteristic is automatically included in the reference characteristics. When the parameters are set for a forecast, an interval is maintained and this is interpreted as the past.
• The characteristic must be restricted to the package. The values for this time period are forecast.
• The characteristic may not be used to form specific restrictions when executing the planning function. Therefore, it may not be included in the characteristics for conditions.
