Definition

Determines how and by which value the variable is replaced at runtime:

  • Fixed values:
    You enter one or several specific values, by which the variable should be replaced at runtime.
  • User-specific values:
    Like fixed values. However, you also specify that the variable replacement is only executed when the user is logged onto the system, for whom you have created user-specific values in the variable definition.
  • User exit:
    You enter a function module, which is executed at runtime and delivers the value through which the variable is replaced.
  • Authorization:
    The variable is replaced by the appropriate authorizations from BW.
