Definition
The displayed where-used list shows which steps can be applied in which planning levels.
This is based on selections made in the individual planning levels and the where-used list therefore only represents the steps that can be applied in theory. For example, the selection for a characteristic in the level could be restricted to '#' in a subjacent package; the step then would not be applied, despite being listed here.
Furthermore, the actual data in the InfoCube also decides which particular step is performed for which particular data record.
Notes appear in this column if the selection for the level can be further restricted because of the variables and selections in the packages and this affected the ability to execute the step. The following cases can be distinguished between:
- >> Empty <<: according to the selection in the level, the step can be executed. This is not dependent on the package selections or variables.
- >> Variable <<: if variables have '*', the step can be executed. This is dependent on the values of the variables.
- >> PA Var. <<: only occurs if a multi-planning area is being used. A variable is being used in the generated
planning area
characteristic for the multi-planning area. This overwrites all other notes. Tip: if other notes are of interest, replace the variable with a normal selection to ensure these notes are displayed. - >> Package <<: the selection is currently not defined in the level. A selection is possible that will mean that the step is executed.
- >> PA Package <<: only occurs if a multi-planning area is being used. A The selection of the generated
Planungsgebiet
characterist characteristic is set to package selection. This overwrites all other notes. Tip: if other notes are of interest, replace package selection with a normal selection to ensure these notes are displayed. - >> Var./Package <<: whether the step is executed depends on both the package selection and the values of the variables.
- >>Multiple<<: the source characteristic for the step can be derived in more than one way. The system does not specify in any further detail whether there are dependencies on variables or package selections. This is only possible with and relevant to derivation.
