Definition
A data record consists of characteristics and key figures. If all key figures are initial, for example, if they have the value zero then the record is automatically deleted in SEM-BPS. However, this behavior is optional in SAP BW, so that it is possible to keep data records in SAP BW whose key figures are initial. This can mean that the data selection in SAP BW can deliver 10,000 records, however, only 5,000 records contain non-initial key figure values. This leads to a deterioration in performance as 5,000 records are prepared unnecessarily by SAP BW, sent to SEM-BPS, and deleted there.
This key figure indicates the number of deleted data records and should ideally demonstrate a value of zero. The zero records are contained in the column, which specifies the number of data records read.
