Definition
Specifies whether the planning area is a normal (basic) planning area or a multi-planning area:
- Basic planning area: A planning area of this type has a 1:1 relation to a SAP Business Information Warehouse InfoCube, which represents the data basis of the planning area.
- Multi-planning area: A planning area of this type has a 1:N relation to other SEM-BPS planning areas. These planning areas represent with the InfoCubes assigned to them, the data basis of the multi-planning area.
You make the decision whether a planning area is a basic planning area or a multi-planning area, when you create a new planning area. This setting cannot be changed later.
