Definition
This indicator controls how the depreciable or useful life of a planned investment or a planned investment amount is determined.
Use
- Not selected: The useful life is determined from the values of characteristics for year/period of acquisition and year/period of replacement.
- Selected: The useful life is determined from the value of the basic key figure 0PLANULIV_P (for calculation of depreciation for posting periods) or 0PLANULIV_Y (for calculation of depreciation for fiscal years) delivered with the SAP BW Business Content. The key figure can either be contained as a key figure in the planning level, or be assigned to any characteristic of the planning level as an attribute of the type key figure.
Dependencies
The checkbox can only be selected when the basic key figure 0PLANULIV_P or 0PLANULIV_Y either exists as a key figure in the planning level, or is assigned to any characteristic of the planning level as an attribute of the type key figure.
