Definition
Here, new values are forecast for an object for a future period. A characteristic is selected as a time characteristic to represent the time dimension of the forecast. Note the following:
- The characteristic is automatically included in the reference characteristics. When you set up parameters for a forecast, an interval is maintained and this is interpreted as the historical operiod.
- The characteristic must be restricted for the package. The values for this period are forecast.
- The characteristic may not be used to form certain restrictions for the execution of the planning function. Therefore, it may not be included in the characteristics for conditions.
