Definition

If this indicator is set, then the source data records are read without chronological preprocessing (or postprocessing), which is normally required to generate consistent data records within the package in accordance with the distribution. The preprocessing (or postprocessing) is defined from the maximum offset of the distribution function beyond the chronological package limits.

You can use this behavior in a scenario, in which actual data extends as far as the package limit. In this case, it can be that the subsequent postings, which are normally generated from the planned records, are already posted as actual data. Therefore, no more data must be generated from data outside the package.
