Definition
The behavior of the depreciation function with reference to the data records generated is controlled with this indicator.
Normally, the depreciation function generates data records for the depreciation rates in accordance with the posting record Depreciation to asset account (in the case of direct depreciation) Depreciations to accumulated depreciations (in the case of indirect depreciation).
If you set the indicator, only the data records for the income statement item (therefore, depreciations) are generated. No offsetting posting takes place in the sense of double-entry accounting.
