Documentation
Definition
Word separators are used to extract words from text data.
Default value
Depending on system configuration, SPUMG enters the following default value:
- Systems which use double-byte codepages (e.g. 8000): "x'00 to x'3F and x'7F".
- Systems which do not use double-byte code pages: "intersection of active languages".
This value consists of all characters between U+0000 and U+FFFF which are not alphanumeric characters. These characters are determined from code pages of the active languages in the Language List.
This option cannot be changed after the Consistency Check has been started.
Use
You cannot change the Language List after the word separators have been determined and the scans Tables without Language Information and Tables with Ambiguous Language Information have been started.
You cannot set the option to "Intersection of active languages" when the Language List contains an activated double-byte codepage (e.g. 8000). You cannot add a double-byte code page for an active language to the Language List after you have chosen and saved this option in the settings !
