Definition

User type for simple management of responsible persons.

Use

You can use various user types for the definition of a responsible person, dependent on the context:

  • User type "R/3 user name": You specify a user and login name as the responsible person.
  • User type "HR position": You specify an HR position from your HR hierarchy as the responsible person; the responsible person assigned is always linked to the HR position, irrespective of who the actual person is who holds the HR position.
  • User type "user variable": As the responsible person, you specify a variable whose value you define centrally (in the Balanced Scorecard function, this is on the CPM Variable tab page in Scorecard Design). This method enables you to change the responsible person for all affected scorecards.
