Definition
Determines which periods should be displayed. Depending on the periodization, the system always displays the values of the last period that is still in the period interval.

Example
For example if you choose "Quarterly" for the periodization, the system only shows the values for March, June, September, and December.
Depending on the chosen aggregation, however, other (non-displayed) periods may contribute to the value that is displayed. Example: With monthly sales of 100,000 EUR, and bimonthly aggregation, you obtain the following values for the first six months:

If you then choose quarterly periodization, the system shows "100,000 EUR" for March and "200,000 EUR" for June.
