Definition
You can use this option to change global display attributes of fields (or "global fields") that belong to inactive components.
If you mark this option with a cross, the system displays another dialog box. It displays all the global fields of inactive components with the display attribute "invisible" as the default value. You can change the default values.
If you choose the "Save" function on this screen, the display attributes are saved for global fields for which the "Active" column is selected. These attributes take immediate effect providing the appropriate system parameter dynpro/global_fields is set to 'yes'.
Exception: In the Customizing transactions, the global fields are always visible and ready for input so that changes are still possible.
You can also change global display attributes in the IMG under "Global Settings".
