Documentation
Definition
Entities, which can be either physical or abstract objects (such as Mr. Douglas, the "Sales Information System" project), are divided into entity types according to their properties. An entity type is assigned attributes, which describe the entities of the entity type.
Use
Procedure
Select Entity type and enter the name of the entity type you wish to edit.
Names of entity types can consist of alphanumeric characters and underscores in any given sequence. The first eight characters of an entity type name should not be the same as those of another entity type, since this would mean that the default view name could not be used for Dictionary assignment.
