Name of the table/view assigned to the entity type (Dictionary assignment).

Use

Procedure

To assign an entity type or view to a table or to display or change the existing assignment, you have to branch via Goto -> Dictionary assignment from the saved definition of the entity type to the screen Create Table/View Assignment or Maintain Table/View Assignment.

In this screen you can define and check the assignment. You also have the option of branching to the definitions of the table/view in the ABAP/4 Dictionary and to any instances that may exist.

Table assignment:

Enter the name of the table you wish to assign. Then check and save.

View assignment:

Adopt the proposed name or change it if required. Then check and save.
