A data model represents a section of the complete SAP Enterprise Data Model and is defined by a set of entity types and other data models.
Each data model is identified by a unique name.
Data model names may contain only alphanumeric characters and the underscore ('_').

Procedure
Select modeling object Data model hierarchy and enter the name of the data model you wish to edit.
If you first have to find the name of a specific data model, you have the following search options:
- You can display the complete list of data models by selecting modeling object Data model hierarchy, positioning the cursor on the entry field and clicking on the arrow that appears to the right of the field. You can then choose the data model you require from the list.
- You can call the Information System by selecting modeling object Data model hierarchy and branching to the Information System by selecting menu options Utilities -> Find. You can then perform a generic search for the data model by entering attributes of the data model known to you.
