Definition
Identifies inherited fields of a view.
Inheritance: views
Inheritance is only possible for views assigned to entity types of the information model.
Where views are assigned to entity types, tables, fields, and selection conditions are passed on if there is a generalization/specialization relationship between the entity types.
The view assigned to the more specialized entity type inherits all tables, fields, and selection conditions of the view of the generalized entity type.
The datasets of the inheriting view receives more information, but fewer datasets are selected. This corresponds precisely to the definition of specialization as a subset of generalization, but with more attributes.
