Definition

A screen field can refer to a conversion routine.
Conversion routines are executed at the end of the
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT event and at the beginning of the
PROCESS AFTER INPUT event.

An example of a conversion routine is ALPHA, that suppresses leading
zeros before the screen is sent; after the screen has been sent, the
leading zeros are reinserted.

Conversion routines are either an attribute of a domain or are defined
locally in the screen.
