Definition
You can assign an original batch to an order or purchase order item. The original batch number can be:
- Manually assigned (external number assignment)
- Sequentially assigned (internal number assignment, no entry)
- Inherited from a component in the production order, along with the material from the original batch
In this case the number field is not ready for input. However, you can delete the number and then create a new number.
