Definition
This is the number of errors displayed at once. If you make no entry or enter 0, all errors occurring are displayed. If you enter a value greater than 0, the system displays the corresponding number of error messages (the maximum being the number of errors that occurred).
It is sensible to set the number of errors to 1 in conjunction with the setting 'mark errors'. If errors occur, exactly one message is displayed and only one field is marked (the field connected to the error). If you then correct this error and run the check again, the next error is displayed and the affected field marked. In this way, affected fields can be clearly assigned to each error. You can process the individual erroneous entries in order.
