Definition

The format of this time stamp is obsolete.

It is a numerical format comprising date and time formats that has been replaced by a new packed format with 2 lengths:

• short form with a resolution of 1 second, internal length 8 bytes and external length 19 bytes (formatted).
• long form with a resolution of 1^-7 seconds, internal length 11 bytes and external length 27 bytes (formatted).

For the XMI interface: the UTC time stamp is converted transparently for the user into the format of this data element and extracted again.
