Documentation
Definition
The time zone function can be activated/deactivated. Do not do this during production operation.
The individual time zone objects (time zones, time zone rules, anddaylight saving time rules) can also be activated/deactivated selectively.
The "active" flag can be reset for obsolete time zone objects, or for objects no longe in use, in which case they no longer appear as possible entris although they still exist.
If these time zone objects are simply deleted, time stamps in referenced application objects would no longer be able to be converted into the original local time. There is no where-used list for time zones.
