Definition
The type of note to payee line is determined here. You must choose from one of the following:
- Type 1 Note to payee
- Type 2 Internal reference
- Type 3 External reference
Using these details together with those for the number and length of the note to payee lines, a template is filled by the generic payment medium program.
Note
Note that you can also enter note to payee lines of type 4, 5, and 6 when you determine the note to payee structure. These are basically sub-items of type 1 that are used to create headers and notes to payee both for an alternative payee and where the company code has changed.
