Definition
Create a new set of archive files and invalidate the existing set
Use
For one set of selection parameters there can only be one set of valid archives at a time. Checking this box will create a new set of archiving files and invalidate the existing set. Currently, the existing set can not be deleted, but will remain in the archive storage. It will be marked invalid in the ILM administration tables.
If this box is not checked, you can only add archiving files to an existing set.
Dependencies
Example
In a first run, you select 'FI' and create the FI archiving file. In a second run you select ´'FI' and 'CO' and only create the CO archiving file for the same set.
I a third run you select 'CO' again and check this box: This will invalidate both the FI and the CO archiving file and create a new CO file. In a subsequent run you can create a valid CO file again. (All runs use otherwise the same selection of company codes and fiscal year).
