Definition
The characters selected from the character table are first stored temporarily in the input buffer. The selected characters are always inserted at the end of the buffer. The characters are transferred to the actual cursor position in the text module when the function 'Insert' is called up.
If the buffer is full, it is not possible to select further characters.
