Definition
The SAP transaction category permits a distinction to be made between SAP transactions used for maintenance and those used merely for display. This allows, for example, the issue or suppression of a dialog message (via flow control) when the function "exit" is invoked.
After initialization of the flow control, the transaction category remains unchanged during the entire transaction.
