Documentation
Definition
Minimum number of days, weeks, months, or years that must have passed since the due date for net payment of a receivable in order for interest to be calculated.
If an item is cleared within the tolerance days, interest cannot be charged for that item.
Note:
When interest is calculated, it starts from the due date for net payment + transfer days.
If interest is determined for an installment plan, the tolerance days do not play a role - unlike the transfer days - because the interest amount is based due dates in the future.
