Documentation
Definition
This field denotes the period for which an employee is paid. The payroll period is used in the payroll routine to determine the period table used to calculate wage tax [LH]. Accepted values are:
- 0 = Table for special payments
- 1 = Quarter
- 2 = Month
- 3 = Week
- 4 = 4 Weeks
- 5 = Day
Procedure
In infotype Fiscal Data NL (0060) the appropriate field must be filled. It is automatically filled with a default value determined by feature Default values for infotype 'Fiscal Data NL' (0060) (NLSTD). The value can be overwritten.
When entering the code in infotype Fiscal Data NL (0060) please note that:
- The day table code applies to part-timers with an irregular work arrangement.
- The day table may not be used for part-timers with a regular work arrangement and full-time employees. In this case the code for the appropriate payroll period must be chosen.
- The implementation of Payroll Taxes in 2006 means that only 4-weekly and monthly returns are possible, but you wish to use the quarterly table. In this case, you can include the relevant persons in the monthly payroll, and assign them a payment once per quarter. In such a case you can use the quarterly table, however only on the condition that no income is received in the other two months. Examples of this are Supervisory Board Members who are generally paid once per quarter, and retired persons with a very small pension.
