Definition

Specifies the target number of IDocs for one transmission.

This target number is a part of the transmission itself. When this number is reached, the transmission is processed.

Use

The target number of IDocs is only of significance if you have selected "Close transmission when target quantity of IDocs reached" in the inbound parameters for the EDI partner under Closing the transmission.

This function can only be used if the EDI subsystem calculates the number of IDocs for each transmission and displays this in a field especially for that purpose. For more information, see the online help for the Customizing transaction Inbound Parameters for EDI Partner .
