You set this flag if you want to determine and display the maximum possible number of hits for the selection criteria entered. This may be greater than the number of hits actually displayed because you can restrict this set.
The result is displayed in the title line next to the number of actually selected entries.
If you are not interested in the theoretical number of possible hits, or you have not restricted the actual set of hits, you should not set the flag for performance reasons.
