Definition
For a derivative contract specification (DCS), the following period types are provided:
- Contract Period:
Defines the term of the contract based on the DCS. - Trading Period:
Defines the period in which the derivative is traded based on the DCS. - Quotation Period:
Defines the period in which quotations are available for a derivative based on the DCS. - Physical Settlement Period:
Defines the period in which the derivative can be physically settled (delivered) based on the DCS. - Cash Settlement Period:
Defines the period in which the derivative can be settled in cash based on DCS. - Expiration Period:
Defines the period and date when the listed option expires if it has not been exercised yet.
