Documentation
Definition
When specifying a Derivative Contract Specification (DCS), periods, like contract period, trading period or quotation period can either be manually entered, or automatically be determined by a BAdI implementation.
The start date of the automatic period determination specifies the date the automatic period determination is started with.
Use
The number of periods for a DCS can become very large in particular when the periods are determined automatically. The start date of the automatic period determination can be used to reduce the number of periods shown when displaying or editing a DCS.
Dependencies
The start date of the automatic period determination is only applied when a period determination method is maintained in the corresponding DCS.
