Definition
Indicates whether the selection between the gross or the net procedure is active.
If the selection is active, the user must determine in the key data for the payoff which procedure is to be used for processing. If the indicator is inactive, the payoff automatically uses the net procedure.
Only the net payoff amount can be entered in the net procedure. The gross payoff amount is determined by means of summation of the components displayed in the key data. Unlike in the gross procedure, runtime errors do not occur in the net procedure.
In the gross procedure, the gross payoff amount for the payoff is calculated using an iterative procedure based on the value of the net payoff amount, taking into account dependent amounts, in particular the proportional payments and the user-defined fields.Due to the unavoidable iteration procedure, the gross procedure, in particular regarding the algorithms defined in the user-exit for the user-defined fields, has a very intensive run time.
Note
The gross procedure is not included in Release 4.63 and therefore cannot be activated.
