Definition

The link to the Collateral Management System (CMS) offers you functions to create, manage and monitor collateral objects.

Use

If you set this indicator the following points apply to the application:

  • In the processing screen for mortgage loans the Objects and Collateral tab pages are replaced by the CMS Collateral tab page and the Collateral Management System pushbutton. You can choose this button to branch to the CMS system.

    Note that you can then no longer use the functions in the menu under Master Data for Object Management, Collateral Value Calculation and Collateral.

  • In the Correspondence functions the system uses the object and collateral data from CMS. It transfers the data from CMS into the structures for object and collateral already used in Loans Management.
  • If you have defined a plausibility check, in the Disbursement business operation the system checks whether an object and/or an encumbrance exists in CMS.
